Британский FRC считает обновленный стандарт IAS 7 полезным для долговых раскрытий

Буквально несколько дней назад Совет по МСФО представил обновленный вариант стандарта IAS 7 “Отчет о движении денежных средств”, который вступает в силу с 1 января 2017 г., но при этом его разрешено использовать досрочно. Британский регулятор – Совет по финансовой отчетности (FRC) – тепло отозвался о новом варианте стандарта, который конкретно для британской учетной практики может оказаться особенно полезным в плане раскрытия долговых обязательств. FRC заявил о внедрении обновленной версии стандарта в Британии. Новые правила МСФО потребуют от компаний раскрывать изменения в обязательствах в составе денежных потоков от финансовой деятельности. В значительной степени изменения в стандарт были внесены Советом по МСФО как ответ на замечания инвесторов, которым не всегда были понятны изменения в долговых обязательствах компаний. Комментируя публикацию изменений к международному стандарту, директор входящей в состав FRC “Финансовой лаборатории” Сью Хардинг (Sue Harding) отметила: Наработки “Финансовой лаборатории” по теме взаимозачета долговых обязательств продемонстрировали инвесторам, что требуется больше информации о существенных (наличных и безналичных) изменениях в долге. Новые требования обеспечат здесь больше прозрачности. Призываем IASB продолжать изучать возможности для улучшения раскрытия балансов наличности и денежных эквивалентов.
