Британский госбанк заменит 550 сотрудников роботами

Королевский банк Шотландии (Royal Bank of Scotland, RBS), одно из крупнейших кредитных учреждений Великобритании, планирует сократить 550 рабочих мест, которые будут заменены советниками-роботами, сообщает The Guardian. Роботы будут давать рекомендации обычным клиентам, вкладывающим сравнительно небольшие суммы (от 500 фунтов стерлингов). Команда живых советников останется только для людей, инвестирующих от 250 тысяч фунтов. Автоматические системы будут давать советы клиентам, исходя из ответов последних на специальную анкету. Данный шаг является одной из мер по снижению издержек, принимаемых руководством банка на фоне сложной финансовой ситуации. По итогам 2015 года банк, на 73 процента принадлежащий государству, понес убытки в 2 миллиарда фунтов стерлингов. Представители банка заявляют, что спрос на услуги советников снижается, а клиенты хотят работать с кредитной организацией через цифровые технологии. RBS оказался в сложной финансовой ситуации в конце 2008 года из-за глобального кредитного кризиса. Правительство страны было вынуждено войти в капитал банка, чтобы предотвратить его разорение, которое в свою очередь могло бы разрушить всю финансовую систему Великобритании. С тех пор власти неоднократно заявляли о необходимости приватизации банка, но никаких шагов в этом направлении предпринято не было.
