Creşterea economiei mondiale va fi probabil sub aşteptările iniţiale ale FMI în 2015 din cauza redresării lente a statelor dezvoltate şi a încetinirii care are loc în ţările emergente, a avertizat marţi directorul general al instituţiei, Christine Lagarde, transmite Reuters. În luna iulie, FMI anticipa că economia mondială va înregistra în acest an o creştere de 3,3%, uşor sub ritmul de 3,4% consemnat în 2014. Lagarde a spus că economia chineză încetineşte, dar nu brusc sau în mod neaşteptat, în condiţiile în care se adaptează la un nou model de dezvoltare. Tranziţia la o economie bazată mai mult pe piaţă şi eliminarea riscurilor acumulate în ultimii ani sunt complexe şi pot fi uneori oarecum accidentate, a explicat Lagarde.
