Datoriile grecilor către stat au ajuns la jumătate din PIB

În luna mai restanţele la fisc ale grecilor de rând şi companiilor au crescut cu 1,25 de miliarde de euro, ducând totalul datoriilor expirate către stat la 88,9 miliarde de euro, echivalentul a 50% din PIB-ul ţării, scrie Kathimerini. Ziarul pune creşterea pe seama „poverii fiscale uriaşe care în ultimii ani i-a zdrobit pe greci“. Surse din piaţă estimează că datoriile expirate vor ajunge la 95 de miliarde de euro până la sfârşitul anului pentru că restanţele plătitorilor de taxe vor avansa cu cel puţin un miliard de euro pe lună. Situaţia va fi agravată de faptul că anul acesta vor creşte impozitele indirecte. Datoriile expirate se situau la 30 de miliarde de euro la sfârşitul anului 2009, ceea ce înseamnă că s-au majorat cu aproape 200% până în mai 2016. Calculele arată că în timpul crizei financiare contribuabilii şi companiile nu şi-au plătit taxe şi impozite de aproape 59 de miliarde de euro. Desigur, cea mai mare parte a acestei sume nu mai poate fi colectată deoarece mulţi dintre marii datornici au dat faliment sau au murit.
