Deutsche Bank выплатит штраф в $2,5 млрд в США и Великобритании

Крупнейший банк Германии в первом квартале перечислил в резервы на судебные издержки 1,5 млрд евро. Deutsche Bank выплатит штраф в размере около $2,5 млрд и уволит семерых сотрудников, чтобы урегулировать претензии регуляторов Великобритании и США, говорится в сообщении управления финансовых услуг штата Нью-Йорк (NYDFS). Как сообщает агентство Bloomberg, на данный момент эта сумма является максимальной в связи с делом о манипулировании Лондонской межбанковской ставкой предложения (LIBOR). Имена сотрудников не раскрываются. Известно, что банк должен уволить шестерых работников в Лондоне и одного во Франкфурте, поскольку их поведение нарушало установленные стандарты. DFS отмечает, что речь идет об одном управляющем директоре, четырех директорах и двух вице-президентах. Сотрудники Deutsche Bank прибегали к масштабной практике манипулирования эталонными процентными ставками в целях финансовой выгоды. Мы должны помнить о том, что рынки сами собой не манипулируют: для этого требуется намеренное нарушение со стороны отдельных лиц, - заявил глава NYDFS Бенджамин Лоуски. Штраф будет поделен на несколько частей: NYDFS получит $600 млн, Министерство юстиции США - $775 млн, Комиссия по срочной фьючерсной торговле сырьевыми товарами (CFTC) США - $800 млн. Британскому Управлению по контролю за соблюдением норм поведения на финансовых рынках (FCA) Deutsche Bank перечислит 227 млн фунтов стерлингов ($341 млн). Накануне крупнейший банк Германии объявил о перечислении в резервы на судебные издержки в первом квартале 2015 года 1,5 млрд евро ($2,17 млрд). Несмотря на существенные отчисления на покрытие предстоящих судебных расходов, Deutsche Bank по-прежнему ожидает получить прибыль по итогам I квартала. Акции Deutsche Bank подешевели в четверг на 1,2% на торгах во Франкфурте. Соглашения с властями в рамках по делам о манипулировании процентными ставками уже заключили Rabobank, Barclays, UBS, Lloyds и Royal Bank of Scotland. При этом ранее сообщалось, что американские власти рассматривают возможность аннулирования досудебных сделок из-за повторных нарушений. Минюст США изучает, можно ли считать признание банками противозаконных действий на валютных рынках нарушением сделок со следствием, заключенных ранее. В числе условий прошлых договоренностей отмечалось, что банки обязуются впредь не нарушать закон, в противном случае сделки могут быть отменены, что означает возможность уголовного преследования финкомпаний.
