Доля теневой экономики в Литве достигает 35% ВВП
Борьба с теневой экономикой является одним из приоритетов правительства, однако ее доля сокращается недостаточно быстро, - отметил глава правительства.По словам Буткявичюса, борьбу с нелегальным бизнесом осложняет пассивная позиция общества. Как пример - 62% населения терпимо относятся к контрабанде сигарет: из-за акциза, который Литва как член ЕС вынуждена была поднять до требуемой нормы, сигареты в Литве более чем в два раза дороже, чем в соседней Белоруссии. Премьер призвал бизнесменов к сотрудничеству с институтами власти в борьбе с теневой экономикой.
Ее масштабы, прежде всего, может снизить взаимопонимание между властью и предпринимателями, а не запретительные меры, - считает Буткявичюс.
