Драги призвал еврозону к дальнейшей экономической интеграции

Председатель Европейского центрального банка (ЕЦБ) Марио Драги призвал страны еврозоны провести более глубокие реформы и наделить общеевропейские органы более широкими полномочиями, которые позволят сделать следующий шаг в направлении экономической интеграции, сообщает агентство Bloomberg. "Есть сильные аргументы в пользу применения к руководству структурными реформами тех же принципов единства, что и в налогово-бюджетной сфере. Исход структурных реформ - непрерывное поддержание производительности и конкурентоспособности на высоком уровне - отвечает интересам не только какой-то отдельной страны, а интересам всего союза в целом", - заявил глава ЕЦБ в Лондоне. Ранее Драги неоднократно повторял, что одной лишь стимулирующей денежно-кредитной политики ЦБ еврозоны недостаточно для того, чтобы поддержать восстановление экономики в регионе. По его словам, для вступления в ЕС было бы полезно установить дополнительные структурные критерии. Драги призвал страны валютного блока начать новый процесс экономического сближения, с тем чтобы "все страны действительно могли получить выгоду от членства" в еврозоне. Сейчас "компании сталкиваются со значительными различиями в условиях работы в разных странах еврозоны".
Всемирный экономический форум ставит Финляндию на третье место с точки зрения международной конкурентоспособности, тогда как Греция занимает 91-е, - отметил Драги.
Как пишет Financial Times, споры о повышении конкурентоспособности ведутся в Европе не первый год. Берлин уже давно выступает за необходимость "обязательных договорных условий", которые заставят страны еврозоны проводить реформы на рынке труда и в пенсионной сфере. Однако на последнем саммите европейских лидеров Германии не удалось найти поддержку у других государств-членов ЕС. Ряд других стран еврозоны выдвигали схожие предложения, но в более мягкой форме или с большим количеством ограничений.
