ЕС расследует налоговые обвинения в адрес Люксембурга

Еврокомиссия начинает новое расследование в связи с появившимися в прессе сообщениями о том, что власти Люксембурга якобы помогали мультинациональным корпорациям уходить от налогов.Об этом объявил на брифинге в Брюсселе пресс-секретарь Еврокомиссии Маргаритис Скинас. Ранее Международный консорциум журналистских расследований (МКЖР) обнародовал доклад, в котором утверждается, что 340 крупнейшим компаниям благодаря соглашению с властями Люксембурга, предположительно, удалось утаить от налогообложения миллиарды долларов. В докладе упоминаются такие всемирно известные фирмы, как Apple, Burberry, Heinz, Pepsico, IKEA и Deutsche Bank. По словам Скинаса, нынешний председатель Еврокомиссии Жан-Клод Юнкер, который в течение многих лет занимал посты премьер-министра и министра финансов Люксембурга, контролировать новое расследование не будет. "В герцогстве Люксембург есть законное правительство, которому придется дать ответ на вопросы в связи с начавшимся расследованием", - заявил пресс-секретарь Еврокомиссии. В частности, уже расследуются утверждения о существовании соглашений о налоговых преференциях между правительством герцогства с онлайн-магазином Amazon и итальянским автопроизводителем FIAT.Новое расследование возглавит преемница Альмунии на посту еврокомиссара по вопросам конкуренции датчанка Маргрете Вестагер. Представители МКЖР сообщили, что 80 журналистов агентства тщательно изучили 28 тысяч страниц переданных им документов, в том числе соглашения о налоговых послаблениях и бумаги, связанные с возвратом налоговых сумм. По их словам, компании "создали сложные бухгалтерские и юридические схемы для перевода прибыли из стран с высоким налогообложением, где расположены их штаб-квартиры или осуществляется большая часть бизнеса, в Люксембург, где налоги низки". Премьер-министр Люксембурга Ксавье Беттель, в свою очередь, утверждает, что соглашения правительства страны с мультинациональными корпорациями были составлены в соответствии с налоговыми нормами международного права.
