ЕС решил оспаривать российские запреты на импорт через ВТО

Евросоюз готов добиваться отмены российских запретов на импорт продовольствия через Всемирную торговую организацию (ВТО). Об этом сообщает агентство ИТАР-ТАСС со ссылкой на европейский дипломатический источник. По словам дипломата, политически мотивированные масштабные торговые запреты являются прямым нарушением норм ВТО. Российские ограничения будут тщательно проанализированы, после чего должны быть поданы соответствующие иски в ВТО. Также в случае необходимости в ближайшие дни может быть созвано заседание Совета ЕС. Дипломатический источник сообщил, что ЕС пока не решил, будут ли вводиться ответные торговые меры против России. «Сначала необходимо увидеть и проанализировать официальный перечень продуктов, которые Москва намерена запретить. После этого будут приниматься решения как на европейском, так и на национальном уровнях», — подчеркнул он. По данным дипломата, российский запрет на импорт продовольствия из ЕС может привести к убыткам на миллиарды евро, причем как для европейских, так и для российских потребителей. Ожидается, что список запрещенных к поставкам продуктов будет опубликован 7 августа. 6 августа президент России Владимир Путин подписал указ о запрете импорта сельскохозяйственной продукции, сырья и продовольствия из стран, которые ввели санкции против России. Ограничения будут действовать год. Глава государства поручил правительству подготовить перечень продуктов, попадающих под запрет. Одновременно кабинет министров подготовит меры по недопущению ускоренного роста цен на сельскохозяйственную и продовольственную продукцию. Via | lenta.ru
