Evaziune fiscală de milioane de euro la Apple

Subsidiara italiană a grupului american Apple a acceptat să plătească o amendă de 318 milioane de euro în urma unor investigaţii demarate în 2013 privind evaziunea fiscală, se arată într-un articol apărut în publicaţia italiană ''La Repubblica''. Autoritatea fiscală italiană a acuzat Apple Italia că în perioada 2008 - 2013 ar fi transferat aproximativ 880 milioane de euro din profitul realizat în Italia către o subsidiară cu sediul în oraşul irlandez Cork, pentru a beneficia de taxa pe companii mai redusă din Irlanda, se arată în articolul din ''La Repubblica''. Prin acest transfer, Apple şi-a redus veniturile impozabile din Italia. Investigaţia, condusă de procurorul Francesco Greco din Milano, a descoperit o diferenţă uriaşă între veniturile Aple din Italia, de peste un miliard de euro în perioada 2008 - 2013, şi taxele plătite, de 30 milioane de euro, transmite Capital.ro. Investigaţia a arătat că Apple Italia era înregistrată ca fiind ''consultant'' pentru Apple Irlanda, ceea ce a permis transferarea profiturilor. Comisia Europeană a anunţat, anul trecut, patru anchete menite să determine dacă anumite companii au beneficiat de avantaje fiscale induse, respectiv Apple în Irlanda, Starbucks în Olanda, Fiat şi Amazon în Luxemburg. CE anchetează din iunie 2013 practicile fiscale ale unor ţări europene cu privire la marile companii. În decembrie 2014, după scandalul 'LuxLeaks' de evaziune fiscală masivă din partea multinaţionalelor care beneficiază de un regim special de taxare în Luxemburg, Comisia a extins sistemul de colectare de informaţii la toate statele UE. De asemenea, LuxLeaks a determinat autorităţile europene să încerce să adopte un ansamblu de măsuri pentru a lupta împotriva evaziunii fiscale în Europa.
