Европа избавляется от дыма: под запретом ароматизированные сигареты

Евросоюз в очередной раз ужесточил антитабачное законодательство. На этот раз под запретом оказались ароматизированные сигареты, передает Euronews. Согласно принятым требованиям, с 2016г. в Европе запретят производство и продажу сигарет с запахом ванили и фруктов. Ментоловые сигареты изымут из продажи с 2020г. По новым правилам, информация о вреде курения и предупреждения медиков должны занимать две трети сигаретной пачки. Ситуация с электронными сигаретами пока выглядит неопределенной.
"Европейский парламент постановил, что продажа электронных сигарет должна осуществляться на основе общих правил реализации табачной продукции. И на сегодняшний день это решение окончательное, - заявили британские евродепутаты. - Мы никогда не обсуждали вопрос о запрете электронных сигарет, как часто сообщалось в средствах массовой информации. Этот вопрос не был предметом дискуссий".
Согласно последним директивам, в Евросоюзе разрешена свободная продажа электронных сигарет, картриджи которых содержат не более 20 мг никотина на 1 мл своего объема. Если более трех стран Союза решат ограничить продажу так называемых многоразовых электронных сигарет, эта мера станет общеевропейской. Перспективы туманных сигарет выглядят как никогда туманно.
