FASB улучшил учет нефинансовых активов в некоммерческих организациях

Американский Совет по стандартам финансовой отчетности (FASB) представил обновление к стандартам по учету и раскрытию информации о поступлениях в форме нефинансовых активов в некоммерческих организациях. Иначе говоря, речь идет о пожертвованиях в натуральной форме, часто встречающихся в благотворительных организациях (которые получают еду, медикаменты, помещения и так далее), но это также может быть случай, например, музея и галереи искусства, получающих экспонаты из частных коллекций. Обновление в американских стандартах учета и отчетности потребует от некоммерческих организаций представлять пожертвования в нефинансовой форме отдельной статьей, дабы отличать их от пожертвований в форме наличности и финансовых активов. При этом им придется проводить категоризацию нефинансовых активов по их типам, чтобы отличать один от другого, а по каждой категории поступивших нефинансовых активов еще и отражать: Качественную информацию о вариантах дальнейшего распоряжения ими (например, монетизация) в текущем и будущих периодах. Если речь идет не о монетизации, а об использовании, потребуется описание программ и мероприятий, в которых эти активы планируется использовать; Описание любых ограничений по нефинансовым активам, накладываемых дарителями; Описание методов оценки стоимости и использовавшихся вводных данных, с помощью которых удалось прийти к указанным значениям справедливой стоимости, в том числе цен на активы на основных или наиболее близких рынках (в этом предстоит ориентироваться на требования стандартов из раздела Topic 820 «Измерение справедливой стоимости»). Комментарии по предварительному варианту изменений будут приниматься до 10 апреля.
