FRC приступил к пересмотру стандартов оценки существенного искажения

Совет по финансовой отчетности Великобритании (FRC) запустил консультации по предложенным изменениям к стандарту ISA (UK) 315 «Выявление и оценка рисков существенного искажения посредством изучения организации и ее окружения». Британский аудиторский стандарт в последний раз пересматривался в 2016 г. В своей инициативе по внесению изменений FRC традиционно следует курсу Совета по международным стандартам аудита и гарантии качества (IAASB), который внес изменения в стандарт в декабре прошлого года. FRC всегда оказывал работе IAASB свою всецелую поддержку. Прошлогодние правки призваны обеспечить больше последовательности и строгости в оценке риска существенного искажения отчетности при некотором упрощении и сокращении объема текста самого стандарта. В свою очередь, более строгий подход к оценке риска существенного искажения означает более прочный базис, на основе которого аудиторы далее разрабатывают и проводят аудиторские процедуры, являющиеся ответом на обнаруженный риск существенного расхождения, получая в результате достаточно аудиторских свидетельств для формирования заключения. FRS при этом не собирается вносить никаких собственных добавлений, которых требовали бы какие-то специфические для Великобритании условия: как оказалось, разработчики из IAASB уделили достаточное внимание замечаниям FRC после выхода предварительного варианта обновлений к стандарту в июле 2018 г. После завершения работы обновленный британский аналог МСА 315 должен вступить в силу для аудита годовой отчетности за периоды, начиная с 15 декабря следующего года. Досрочный переход не только разрешен, но и приветствуется.
