Grecia a rambursat 2,3 miliarde de euro către BCE

Guvernul grec a rambursat miercuri către Banca Centrală Europeană (BCE) suma de 2,3 miliarde de euro, una din cele mai importante plăţi făcute în acest de Grecia către creditorii săi internaţionali. Aceaşi sursă a adăugat că în total, incluzând şi alte mici sume ataşate principalului, Agenţia de administrare a datoriilor publice din Grecia (PDMA) a făcut miercuri o plată de peste 2,6 miliarde de euro. Situaţia actuală a Greciei este semnificativ diferită faţă de cea de anul trecut, când premierul Alexis Tsipras a fost nevoit să semneze de urgenţă la data de 13 iulie 2015 un nou acord internaţional de asistenţă, în valoare de 86 miliarde de euro, după ce a ratat plata unei datorii de peste un miliard de euro către Fondul Monetar Internaţional (FMI) şi la o săptămână înainte de scadenţa unei datorii de 4,2 miliarde de euro către BCE. Între timp Grecia a urmat un program de reforme dure impuse de creditori (creşterea impozitelor, scăderea pensiilor, privatizări) chiar dacă negocierile îndelungate cu creditorii, care preced fiecare deblocare de fonduri din partea Mecanismului European de Stabilitate (MES), au provocat unele întârzieri faţă de calendarul prevăzut în acordul de asistenţă. Astfel prima revizuire a stadiului reformelor promise de Grecia s-a încheiat după nouă luni în loc de trei, directorul general al MES, Klaus Regling cerând recent autorităţilor de la Atena să se implice mai ferm în programul de ajustare. În pofida întârzierilor, aprobarea de către creditori a progreselor realizate de Grecia a permis Mecanismului European de Stabilitate (MES) să deblocheze Greciei o primă tranşă de 7,5 miliarde de euro, astfel că autorităţile de la Atena au putut la rândul lor să-şi ramburseze creditorii, în primul rând BCE, dar şi să reducă o parte din arieratele statului grec către furnizori. Din programul de asistenţă de 86 miliarde de euro încheiat în luna iulie a anului trecut, al treilea program de asistenţă internaţională acordat Greciei după cele din 2010 şi 2012, Grecia a primit în decurs de un an aproximativ 28,9 miliarde de euro. Datoria Greciei se ridică în prezent la aproximativ 300 miliarde de euro sau 180% din PIB.
