Grecia a rambursat 186 milioane de euro FMI

Grecia a rambursat joi 186,3 milioane de euro FMI evitând o nouă încetare de plăți față de această instituție, în timp ce se poartă negocieri asupra unui al treilea plan de ajutor pentru țară. Grecia a plătit interesele datorate FMI astăzi, a declarat un purtător de cuvânt al Fondului Monetar Internațional (FMI) într-un comunicat. Este prima dată de la începutul lunii iunie când Grecia, în mari dificultăți financiare, onorează o rambursare față de FMI la timp, notează AFP. După ce a cerut o amânare, țara a intrat în cele din urmă la 30 iunie în incapacitate de plată față de Fond, unul dintre creditorii ei internaționali din 2010 alături de europeni. O nouă scadență nu a putut fi onorată de Atena la jumătatea lunii iulie, ridicând plata arieratelor țării față de FMI la 2 miliarde de euro. Un împrumut de urgență al europenilor a fost cu toate acestea permis Atenei la 20 iulie pentru a-și reglementa datoria față de FMI și a putea pretinde din nou ajutorul financiar al instituției. Reprezentanții FMI, Comisiei Europene și Băncii Centrale Europene (BCE) sunt la Atena de o săptămână pentru a stabili un plan de ajutor de peste 80 de miliarde de euro ce ar trebui finalizat înainte de 20 august. Fondul a avertizat însă că nu va mai acorda alt împrumut Atenei atât timp cât nu acceptă un plan de reforme complet și europenii nu consimt o relaxare a datoriei Greciei, care se ridică la aproximativ 320 miliarde de euro.
