HSBC подумает над переносом штаб-квартиры за пределы Великобритании

Крупнейший банк Европы HSBC Holdings дал понять, что может перенести свою штаб-квартиру за пределы Великобритании в связи с ужесточением регулирования, сообщает агентство Bloomberg. В рамках проходящего более масштабного пересмотра стратегии совет директоров попросил руководство начать работу над поиском наилучшего местоположения штаб-квартиры HSBC в сложившихся новых условиях, - говорится в сообщении банка. Вопрос сложный, и пока слишком рано говорить о сроках, которые займет его рассмотрение, и итоговом заключении, но работа ведется, - отмечается в документе. В понедельник председатель совета директоров банка Дуглас Флинт пообещал обсудить вопрос перевода главного офиса из Лондона, когда прояснится ситуация с правовым регулированием. Ранее один из акционеров банка предложил перевести штаб-квартиру из Лондона. HSBC сталкивается с подобными требованиями, поскольку британские власти с начала года уже восемь раз повышали налоговую нагрузку на финансовые организации. HSBC пострадал особенно сильно - в прошлом году банк заплатил 750 млн фунтов стерлингов ($1,1 млрд) налогов. В преддверии выборов 7 мая о дальнейшем ужесточении налогового режима для банков говорят и лейбористы, и консерваторы. Акции HSBC подорожали на торгах в Лондоне в пятницу на 2,8%.
