JPMorgan сэкономит на компенсациях $4 млрд за счет налоговых вычетов

В США банковская и инвестиционная компания JPMorgan Chase может сэкономить на выплатах в связи с претензиями правительства около 4 млрд долл., сообщает Reuters со ссылкой на источники, знакомые с ситуацией. Таким образом, вместо изначально озвученной суммы в 13 млрд долл. компании придется выплатить только 9 млрд долл. По информации агентства, из 13 млрд долл. 11 млрд подпадают под налоговые вычеты, и случае если они будут проведены как "производственные расходы", сумма возврата составит свыше 4 млрд долл. 11 млрд, которые подпадают под налоговые вычеты, будут направлены пострадавшим от действий JPMorgan инвесторам. Еще 2 млрд долл. будут уплачены компанией в порядке штрафа. Налоговые эксперты отмечают, что при достижении соглашения с JPMorgan правительство вполне могло добиться того, чтобы в порядке исключения компания не стала бы требовать налоговые вычеты с большей части суммы. Так было, в частности, с банком Goldman Sachs, выплатившим 550 млн долл. в 2010г. и не получившим вычетов в рамках ранее достигнутой с властями сделки. Напомним, что о договоренности JPMorgan и властей США о выплате 13 млрд долл. стало известно 20 октября. Сделка должна урегулировать претензии со стороны федеральных властей по поводу деятельности компании перед началом финансового кризиса в 2008г. При этом отмечалось, что сумма станет рекордной из когда-либо единовременно выплачивавшихся в казну одной компанией. При этом достижение соглашения не освободит JPMorgan от сотрудничества с властями по уголовному делу о махинациях с продажей проблемных ипотечных ценных бумаг накануне кризиса в 2008г.
