KPMG закрывает направление бухучета для малого бизнеса

Британский офис KPMG подтвердил планы на закрытие отдельного направления, которое отвечало за “облачное” ведение бухучета для предприятий малого и микробизнеса. Направление запустили с некоторой “помпой” в 2015 году, намереваясь существенно “перетряхнуть сегмент МСП и доминировать на нем”. Малому бизнесу обещали, что тот будет платить “столько же, сколько своему нынешнему бухгалтеру”, но при этом они (KPMG) “могут дать больше”. Однако вскоре пошли слухи, что у нового направления возникли трудности с наращиванием оборотов на переполненном рынке. Развитие стопорилось, и момент для принятия стратегически важного решения о закрытии пришел, вероятно, тогда, когда Бивека Шарму (Bivek Sharma), возглавлявшего направление бухучета для малого бизнеса, отправили в отставку с сохранением оклада. Финансовое информационное издание Accounting WEB получило на этой неделе весточку, что KPMG пишет своим клиентам обращения с просьбой “заключить альтернативные соглашения” с кем-то еще, а буквально в четверг, 7 февраля, в пресс-службе компании изданию подтвердили, что они в самом деле намереваются закрыть предложение услуг по ведению бухучета для малых и средних предприятий в Великобритании. Уточняется, что это следует из более раннего решения руководства перенаправить ресурсы на направления, являющиеся для KPMG UK основными. При этом услуги по ведению бухучета для малого бизнеса в других странах, помимо Британии, сохранятся в неизменном виде, и на них это решение никак не повлияет. Основная часть состава, занятого ранее по закрытому направлению, будет перенаправлена на другие роли в компании, и очень незначительное число человек некоторое время оставят на то, чтобы завершить дела с действующими клиентами из числа МСП и обеспечить им мягкий переход к другим поставщикам услуг.
