Крупнейший госбанк Великобритании сократит 30 тысяч человек

По информации источников FT, RBS планирует сконцентрироваться на лишь на нескольких направлениях работы: розничные потребители, малый бизнес, крупные корпорации. Ожидается, что банк постепенно откажется от инвестиционного бизнеса. Власти Великобритании планируют разделить RBS на «хороший» и «плохой» банки. Последний займется управлением «токсичными» активами в размере 38 миллиардов фунтов (63 миллиарда долларов). По итогам третьего квартала 2013 года банку удалось сократить доналоговый убыток до 634 миллионов фунтов. Для сравнения, годом ранее за этот же период финорганизация потеряла 1,4 миллиарда фунтов. 80 процентов акций RBS принадлежат британскому государству. Власти выкупили банк в разгар финансового кризиса в 2008 году за 45,5 миллиарда фунтов.
