Плохая экология обойдется миру в $2,6 трлн в год

Более 200 млн людей умрут преждевременно в ближайшие 45 лет из-за загрязнения воздуха, прогнозирует Организация экономического сотрудничества и развития (ОЭСР). По оценкам экспертов, до 2060 года включительно количество таких смертей будет составлять около 6-9 млн в год по сравнению с 3 млн в 2010 году. К концу 2060 года мировая экономика будет терять 3,75 млрд "человекодней" в год из-за влияния загрязнения воздуха на здоровье сотрудников и производительность труда. Прямой эффект такого загрязнения может превысить один процент мирового ВВП, или $2,6 трлн в год, прогнозируют эксперты ОЭСР. Вместе с тем увеличится распространение болезней, связанных с загрязнением воздуха, в том числе, количество новых случаев бронхита у детей от шести до 12 лет вырастет в четыре раза - до 36 млн в год, у взрослых - почти втрое, до 10 млн в год. Дети будут чаще болеть астмой. Хуже всего ситуация будет в странах с высокой плотностью населения и уровнем загрязнения, включая Индию и Китай, высокие показатели смертности и заболеваемости также ожидаются в Восточной Европе, Кавказском регионе, в странах Азии, включая Южную Корею. По оценкам организации, уже сейчас мир располагает технологиями, которые позволят существенно очистить воздух. Однако власти предпочитают учитывать лишь затратность подобных технологий в краткосрочной перспективе, а не их долгосрочные преимущества - как экономические, так и социальные. При этом ОЭСР подсчитала, что люди готовы платить около $30 ежегодно за снижение риска преждевременной смерти от загрязнения воздуха на одну стотысячную. С учетом такой готовности экономический эффект от ранней смертности к 2060 году составит от $18 трлн до $25 трлн в год, что сопоставимо с ВВП США - мирового лидера по этому показателю. Эксперты ОЭСР признают, что речь не идет о "реальных деньгах" или рыночных транзакциях, но утверждают, что от этого последствия не становятся менее значимыми.
