Premierul grec Alexis Tsipras și-a anunțat demisia

Premierul Greciei, Alexis Tsipras, a anunţat, joi seară, demisia Guvernului pe care îl conduce şi convocarea de alegeri parlamentare, în contextul impasului politic, transmite Mediafax. În scurt timp, îi voi prezenta preşedintelui demisia mea şi a Guvernului. Simt că am obligaţia morală de a mă prezenta evaluării poporului. Votul poporului va decide dacă acordul la care am ajuns cu creditorii ne poate scoate din criză, a declarat Alexis Tsipras. Vreau să fiu onest în totalitate, nu am ajuns la acordul pe care îl voiam cu creditorii internaţionali. Am fost obligaţi să onorăm un acord, a subliniat Tsipras. Potrivit unor surse, până la instalarea viitorului Guvern, Vassiliki Thanou-Christophilou, actualul preşedinte al Curţii Supreme de Justiţie, va prelua funcţia de prim-ministru interimar. Alexis Tsipras a fost obligat să ia această decizie după ce a pierdut majoritatea parlamentară săptămâna trecută, în cursul votului privind noul plan de asistenţă financiară. Patruzeci de parlamentari Syriza nu au votat în favoarea planului de asistenţă, iar Guvernul a rămas cu o susţinere de 119 voturi din totalul de 300 de membri ai Parlamentului. Guvernul a reuşit să adopte acordul cu creditorii cu ajutorul opoziţiei moderate - partidul de centru-dreapta Noua Democraţie (ND) şi Partidul Socialist (PASOK). Potrivit postului public de televiziune din Grecia (ERT), alegerile parlamentare ar urma să aibă loc pe 20 septembrie, înainte de începerea aplicării măsurilor de austeritate pe care Alexis Tsipras le-a convenit cu Grupul Bruxelles (Comisia Europeană, Banca Centrală Europeană, Mecanismul European de Stabilitate şi Fondul Monetar Internaţional).
