Rezerva Federală a SUA a menținut dobânda de politică monetară

Rezerva Federală a SUA a menținut dobânda de politică monetară la un interval cuprins între 0,25% și 0,50%, dar a indicat că ar putea înăspri politica monetară până la sfârșitul anului, datorită îmbunătățirii situației pe piața muncii. Comitetul de politică monetară al Rezervei Federale (FOMC) nu a dat indicii privind momentul în care ar putea majora rata dobânzii, nemodificată din decembrie 2015, dar analiștii se așteaptă la o decizie în acest sens în această toamnă. Cheltuielile gospodăriilor au crescut semnificativ, iar rata șomajului a scăzut în ultimele două luni. Conform datelor oficiale, în prezent, rata inflației în SUA se situează la 1,6%, sub ținta Fed de 2%. Riscurile pe termen scurt la adresa perspectivei economiei par destul de echilibrate. Comitetul de politică monetară al Rezervei Federale (FOMC) a apreciat că există motive pentru o majorare a ratei dobânzii, dar a decis să mai aștepte o perioadă. Dacă situația de pe piața muncii continuă să se îmbunătățească și nu apar riscuri semnificative, ne așteptăm la o majorare a ratei dobânzii, se arată în comunicatul FOMC. În decembrie 2015, FOMC a majorat dobânda de politică monetară pentru prima dată în aproape 10 ani, apreciind că prima economie a lumii a depășit daunele provocate de criza financiară din perioada 2007-2009. Ritmul de creștere al PIB-ului SUA este mai solid și este necesară majorarea ratei dobânzii pentru a preveni supraîncălzirea economiei și un nivel ridicat al inflației, a declarat președintele FOMC, Janet Yellen. Următoarele reuniuni Fed sunt programate în intervalele 1-2 noiembrie și 13-14 decembrie.
