România: O nouă taxă pe carburanți, în pregătire la Guvern

Guvernul analizează posibilitatea introducerii unei noi taxe pe carburanţi. Anunţul a fost făcut de premierul Victor Ponta care spune însă că banii încasaţi astfel vor fi folosiţi numai pentru infrastructura rutieră. "Este o idee mai veche, de când Fenechiu era ministru, de a introduce o anumită taxă pe preţul benzinei şi al motorinei, pentru a alimenta doar fondurile necesare pentru construcţia de infrastructură rutieră, nu ca venituri la bugetul general, ci doar pentru infrastructura. Trebuie să o analizăm. Nu o resping în niciun caz de la început", a declarat premierul Victor Ponta la România TV. Relu Fenechiu declara recent că a găsit soluţia prin care România să aibă mai mulţi kilometri de autostradă. Fostul ministru al Transporturilor a identificat şi sursele de finanţare pentru construirea a 4.000 de kilometri de autostradă: mărirea accizei la carburant şi taxarea pe distanţă a traficului greu.
"Am identificat două surse de finanţare, care pot aduce sume uriaşe la buget. Este vorba despre mărirea accizei la carburant cu 10 euro cenţi, ceea ce într-adevăr ar fi destul de greu de suportat pentru români, care s-au săturat de plătit taxe fără să ştie unde ajung banii lor. (...) A doua sursă de finanţare o reprezintă taxarea bazată pe distanţa traficului greu", a declarat Relu Fenechiu.
În prezent, şoferii plătesc rovinietă Companiei Naţionale de Drumuri şi Autostrăzi pentru finanţarea construcţiei şi reparaţiei drumurilor. Odată cu inaugurarea primei autostrăzi realizate în regim de concesiune, şoferii vor plăti şi taxă pe autostradă. Costul rovinietei plătite de şoferii de autoturisme ar putea creşte cu până la 66% şi va fi mai mic pe anumite perioade de valabilitate în cazul vehiculelor de transport marfa si persoane, potrivit unui nou proiect Departamentul pentru Proiecte de Infrastructura si Investitii Straine de modificare a legislatiei privind tarifele de utilizare a infrastructurii rutiere.
