Швейцария присоединится к Азиатскому банку инфраструктурных инвестиций

Швейцария решила принять участие в создании Азиатского банка инфраструктурных инвестиций (АБИИ, AIIB), формируемого под руководством Китая, говорится в сообщении правительства страны. Швейцария станет одной их первых стран Западной Европы, которые предпринимают такой шаг. В результате Швейцария сможет участвовать в подготовке базовых документов нового финансового учреждения, что позволит стране с самого начала занять хорошую позицию, отмечается в пресс-релизе. Наконец, этот шаг будет способствовать укреплению отношений с Китаем и со странами Азии в целом, - полагают в швейцарском правительстве. Подписание соглашения об основании АБИИ состоялось в октябре 2014 года. Его учредителями выступили Китай и еще 20 стран Азии (Бангладеш, Бруней, Камбоджа, Индия, Казахстан, Кувейт, Лаос, Малайзия, Монголия, Мьянма, Непал, Оман, Пакистан, Филиппины, Катар, Сингапур, Шри-Ланка, Таиланд, Узбекистан и Вьетнам). Уставный капитал банка составляет $100 млрд. В настоящее время число участников АБИИ увеличилось до 27. Учредительный договор банка должен быть подписан в 2015 году. За последнюю неделю о намерении присоединиться к банку объявили Великобритания, которая первой из западных стран предприняла этот шаг, а затем Германия, Франция и Италия. Европейская комиссия поддержала решение стран-членов ЕС присоединиться к АБИИ, сообщает Deutsche Welle. В Азии, как и в Европе, существует значительная потребность в инвестициях в инфраструктуру, - отмечается в сообщении ЕК. Не нужно опасаться оттока денежных средств в Азию. Наоборот, создание банка откроет новые перспективы для европейских предпринимателей, считает ЕК.
