США вышли из капитала General Motors

Правительство США вышло из капитала автогиганта General Motors (GM). В ходе сделки оно продало акции, полученные при спасении концерна в 2009г. Путем поэтапной продажи акций государство смогло вернуть около 39 млрд долл., сообщает Министерство финансов США. "Лидерство президента США (Барака Обамы. - Примеч. РБК) в борьбе с финансовым кризисом помогло стабилизировать автомобильную индустрию и предотвратить еще одну Великую депрессию. С продажей последних акций GM эту важную главу в истории нации можно считать закрытой", - заявил министр финансов Джек Лью. Какое количество акций было продано сейчас, не сообщается. Известно, что изначальный пакет автогиганта в собственности правительства США составлял 32%. В сентябре количество акций снизилось до 7,3%, что составляло 101,3 млн акций. Антикризисные инвестиции в GM со стороны государства закончилась с убытком, однако эксперты считают участие правительства США в судьбе автогиганта как успех. По данным некоммерческой организации Center for Automotive Research, вмешательство государства в судьбу GM сохранило 1,2 млн рабочих мест в 2009г. Это позволило обеспечить налоговые поступления на 39,4 млрд долл. за 2010-2011гг. Напомним, в 2009г. GM была вынуждена пройти процедуру банкротства, после чего 60% акций компании отошли правительству США, еще 12% - правительству Канады. Однако в ноябре 2010г. концерн осуществил первичное публичное размещение акций (IPO) на сумму более 20 млрд долл. и вернулся на биржу. По итогам 9 месяцев 2013г. чистая прибыль General Motors, приходящаяся на долю владельцев обыкновенных акций, составила 2,86 млрд долл. против прибыли 3,97 млрд долл. годом ранее.
