Структуру Кодекса этики для профессиональных бухгалтеров могут пересмотреть

Совет по международным стандартам бухгалтерской этики (IESBA) запустил на прошлой неделе новые консультации, целью которых является возможный пересмотр структуры Кодекса этики для профессиональных бухгалтеров с целью повышения его полезности для пользователей. Об этом говорит и название соответствующего консультационного документа – Improving the Structure of the Code of Ethics for Professional Accountants™ (the Code). Участников опроса приглашают поделиться своим мнением относительно возможных подходов к улучшению прозрачности и полезности Кодекса, что в свою очередь должно позитивно сказаться на его внедрении и последовательном применении на практике. Авторы выделили несколько аспектов процесса реструктуризации:
  • Реструктуризация Кодекса с целью более четкого разграничения обязательных требований и рекомендуемых руководств
  • Реорганизация содержания Кодекса, его ребрендинг (частичный или полный) в качестве нового международного стандарта
  • Спецификация ответственности в плане соответствия требованиям Кодекса в определенных обстоятельствах
  • Упрощение языка формулировок, чтобы обеспечить более легкое понимание содержания пользователями
«Это основополагающая инициатива, которая может в результате вылиться в совершенно новое представление Кодекса – более доступного, понятного и контролируемого. Эти цели – ключевые в плане улучшения применения Кодекса и, следовательно, его глобального внедрения в интересах общественности», – отметил промежуточный председатель Совета по международным стандартам бухгалтерской этики Вуй Сан Квок (Wui San Kwok). Сегодняшний консультационный документ содержит иллюстративные примеры возможной презентации Кодекса этики по завершении его реструктуризации. Полученный отклик окажет Совету несомненную пользу в дальнейшем исследовании. Комментарии будут приниматься до 4 февраля следующего года.
