Testele de stres pentru băncile europene vor începe astăzi

Testele de stres derulate anul acesta în rândul celor mari bănci europene vor începe astăzi, la ora 17.00 GMT, conform unui comunicat postat marţi pe site-ul Autorităţii Bancare Europene (EBA), transmite Reuters. La aceeaşi oră, EBA va publica şi scenariile economice pentru testele de stres desfăşurate de autorităţile de reglementare ale UE. Banca Centrală Europeană a publicat recent lista celor 39 de mari bănci europene care vor fi supuse la noua rundă de teste de stres în 2016. Pe lista celor 39 de bănci se regăsesc principalele unităţi prezente şi pe piaţa din România, precum Erste Group Bank şi Raiffeisen Landesbanken Holding din Austria, Societe Generale şi Credit Agricole din Franţa, UniCredit şi Intesa Sanpaolo din Italia, ING Groep din Olanda şi OTP Bank din Ungaria. În schimb, grupul bancar elen National Bank of Greece a fost testat în 2015 şi în consecinţă nu va face parte din băncile analizate în 2016. În 2014, BCE a testat un număr de 130 de bănci din zona euro, într-un exerciţiu de amploare destinat îmbunătăţirii încrederii în acest sector, înainte ca BCE să preia atribuţiile de supervizor bancar în zona euro, începând din luna noiembrie a anului trecut. Un test de rezistenţă este o simulare a mai multor scenarii diferite de criză financiară prin care poate fi testată soliditatea instituţiilor bancare.
