В Британии обновили Кодекс для аудиторских компаний

Совет по финансовой отчетности Великобритании (FRC) опубликовал пересмотренную версию Кодекса корпоративного управления для аудиторских компаний – своеобразный ориентир, которому необходимо следовать аудиторам публичных компаний в подготовке и представлении отчетности. Обновления в данный документ вносились не только для дальнейшего улучшения качества корпоративного управления такого типа организаций в Британии, но и для приведения его в большее соответствии с общий Кодексом корпоративного управления, который применяется компаниями других секторов. Как отметил исполнительный директор FRC Стивен Хаддрилл, кодекс играет ключевую роль в обеспечении доверия к стоимости аудита у широкой публики – в частности, инвесторов. Так называемые “отчеты о прозрачности” (transparency reports) должны этот момент учитывать, включая в себя информацию с по возможности большей ценностью для стейкхолдеров. FRC собирается заняться изучением таких отчетов, чтобы выявить наилучшие практики и новаторские решения в управлении. Авторы прояснили ключевые цели кодекса: улучшение качества аудита, поддержание репутации аудиторских компаний (в том числе там, где речь идет об оказании услуг неаудиторского направления), снижение риска провала аудита. Новые требования заставят также раскрывать больше информации, связанной с долгосрочной устойчивостью аудиторской организации.
