В ЕС начинает действовать единый механизм разрешения банковских проблем

Единый механизм разрешения банковских проблем SRM начинает функционировать в полном объеме с 1 января 2016 года, сообщила в четверг Еврокомиссия. Это означает, что теперь у нас есть система для решения проблем банков и для расходов по такому решению, так что налогоплательщики будут избавлены от того, чтобы выручать банки, если те обанкротятся. Ошибки банков больше не будут возлагаться на плечи других, - заявил член Еврокомиссии по финансовой стабильности и финансовым услугам Джонатан Хилл. SRM, поясняют в Брюсселе, укрепит устойчивость финансовой системы и поможет избежать будущих кризисов путем обеспечения своевременного и эффективного решения проблем трансграничных и внутренних банков. В коммюнике Еврокомиссии отмечается, что ЕС принял важные шаги для устранения коренных причин финансового кризиса, чтобы гарантировать лучшую капитализацию банков и более эффективное руководство, а также лучше определять риски, которые могут возникать в системе. Но, несмотря на тщательный надзор и усиленный акцент на предотвращение кризисов, уточняет ЕК, все еще возможны случаи, когда банки могут оказаться в сложном положении. SRM устанавливает рамки для государств-членов, участвующих в Банковском союзе, в которых должны решаться банковские проблемы. Банковский союз является обязательным для всех стран зоны евро и состоит из 19 членов: Австрии, Бельгии, Германии, Греции, Ирландии, Испании, Италии, Кипра, Латвии, Литвы, Люксембурга, Мальты, Нидерландов, Португалии, Словакии, Словении, Финляндии, Франции и Эстонии. Если государства-члены присоединяются к банковскому союзу, поясняют в Еврокомиссии, они должны обязательно присоединиться к механизму разрешения.
