ВТО разрешила США ввести пошлины на европейский экспорт объемом $7,5 млрд в год

Всемирная торговая организация (ВТО) официально разрешила Вашингтону ввести пошлины на европейские товары общим объемом $7,5 млрд в год в ответ на незаконное субсидирование Евросоюзом авиастроительного концерна Airbus SE. Решение, принятое организацией 2 октября, получило одобрение членов ВТО на специальном заседании, прошедшем в Женеве. Это одобрение было последним препятствием для введения Штатами пошлин для европейских товаров. Ранее Вашингтон объявил, что с 18 октября введет ряд пошлин, в том числе 10%-ную пошлину на поставки самолетов из ЕС, а также 25%-ную пошлину для некоторых промышленных и сельскохозяйственных товаров. ЕС, в свою очередь, обвиняет Вашингтон в субсидировании Boeing, и этот спор в рамках ВТО длится уже 15 лет. Ранее ВТО признала незаконными субсидии Штатов для Boeing, и в первом полугодии следующего года должна вынести постановление относительно объема американского экспорта, для которого ЕС сможет ввести новые пошлины. Еврокомиссар по торговле Сесилия Мальмстрeм уже предупредила торгового представителя США Роберта Лайтхайзера, что ЕС готов ответить США введением пошлин на американские товары. ЕС ранее опубликовала предварительный список товаров американского экспорта общим объемом $12 млрд в год, которые будут обложены пошлинами, - от кетчупа до игровых консолей.
