Etichetarea produselor: doar adevăr, nimic altceva

Legea ce reglementează etichetarea produselor alimentare a fost publicat în Monitorul Oficial din 12 ianuarie curent. Actul prevede că orice produs alimentar destinat consumatorului final sau unităţilor de alimentaţie publică va fi însoţit de informaţii despre produsul respectiv. Informațiile menționate nu trebuie să inducă în eroare consumatorul despre caracteristicile produsului, natura, identitatea, proprietăţile, compoziţia, cantitatea, data durabilităţii minimale, ţara de origine sau locul de provenienţă, metoda de fabricaţie sau producţie. De asemenea, este interzis ca pe ambalajul produsului alimentar să fie notate efecte sau proprietăţi pe care acesta nu le are. Legea îl face responsabil pentru informarea consumatorilor cu privire la produsele alimentare pe operatorul din business, sub a cărui denumire sau marcă este comercializat produsul, iar dacă operatorul respectiv nu își are sediul în Republica Moldova, responsabil pentru informarea consumatorilor este importatorul pe piaţa internă. Documentul conține o listă a mențiunilor obligatorii ce vor fi notate pe etichetele produselor. Acestea sunt: • denumirea produsului alimentar, • lista ingredientelor, • orice ingredient sau adjuvant tehnologic care provoacă alergii sau intoleranţă, utilizat la fabricarea sau prepararea unui produs alimentar şi încă prezent în produsul finit, chiar şi într-o formă modificată, cantitatea de anumite ingrediente sau categorii de ingredient, • cantitatea netă de produs alimentar, • informații referitoare la valabilitatea produsului alimentar: data-limită de consum, data durabilităţii minimale sau data fabricării și termenul de valabilitate; • condiţiile speciale de păstrare sau condiţiile de utilizare; • numele sau denumirea comercială şi adresa operatorului din businessul alimentar și ţara de origine sau locul de provenienţă, • instrucţiuni de utilizare, în cazul în care omiterea lor ar îngreuna utilizarea corectă a produsului alimentar; • pentru băuturile ce conţin mai mult de 1,2% de alcool în volum, concentraţia alcoolică dobândită; • menţiune privind identificarea lotului • declarația nutrițională. Mențiunile obligatorii se vor imprima pe ambalaj sau pe etichetă astfel, încât să se asigure o vizibilitate bună, cu caractere folosind dimensiuni ale fontului pentru care înălţimea literei mici este mai mare sau egală cu 1,2 mm. În cazul ambalajelor sau al recipientelor la care cea mai mare faţă prezintă o suprafaţă mai mică de 80 cm2, dimensiunea fontului înălţimii literei mici va fi mai mare sau egală cu 0,9 mm. Cât privește lista ingredinetelor, aceasta va fi precedată de un titlu sau de o menţiune corespunzătoare care conţine termenul „ingrediente”, va cuprinde toate ingredientele din produsul alimentar în ordinea descrescătoare a ponderii lor la momentul fabricării. Documentul mai conține descrierea metodei de exprimare per porție sau per unitate de consum, precum și exprimarea per 100 g sau per 100 ml. Implementarea legii nu va necesita finanțare din bugetul de stat, investițiile necesare fiind puse pe operatorii din businessul alimentar pentru aducerea în concordanță etichetrea produselor cu cerințele legii, care intră în vigoare la 12 luni de la data publicării sale în Monitorul Oficial.
