Moldova va obţine 100 mil. euro pentru asistenţa macrofinanciară

Parlamentul European a aprobat hotărârea privind acordarea asistenţei macrofinanciare în valoare de 100 mil. euro pentru Moldova cu votul "pentru" al 575 de deputaţi. 76 au votat "împotrivă", iar 46 s-au abţinut. Din sumă aprobată, 40 mil. au fost convenite sub formă de grant şi 60 mil. sub formă de împrumut. În cadrul discuţiilor, eurodeputaţii au atras atenţia la necesitatea continuării reformelor în Moldova şi îndeplinirea pe deplin a recomandărilor Comisiei de la Veneţia privind modificarea sistemului electoral. Hotărârea de acordare a asistenţei în valoare de 100 mil. euro a fost aprobată în ianuarie de Comisia Europeană, iar pe 12 aprilie - la nivelul ambasadorilor ţărilor UE. Ulterior, hotărârea a fost aprobată de comisiile parlamentare şi comitetele Parlamentului European. Pe 18 mai, Parlamentul European a decis să amâne luarea hotărârii şi să revină la aceasta peste o lună. Decizia a fost luată în contextul atitudinii critice a mai multor instituţii europene faţă de iniţiativa privind modificarea sistemului electoral. Prima tranşă va fi debursată până la sfârşitul anului. Fiecare din cele trei tranşe vor fi însoţite de 10 precondiţii privind implementarea reformelor.
