Moldova are la dispoziţie 20 milioane de euro nerambursabili

Republica Moldova ar putea beneficia de granturi în valoare de până la 20 de milioane de euro din partea Fondului Parteneriatului Europei de Est pentru Eficiență Energetică și Mediu (E5P). Un acord de finanţare în acest sens a fost semnat astăzi, anunţă ministerul economiei. Cu banii oferiţi vor fi finanțate proiecte de eficiență energetică și de mediu, ce vor avea ca scop ameliorarea sistemului de termoficare, aprovizionarea cu apă, iluminarea stradală, eficientizarea energetică a edificiilor publice, gestionarea și reciclarea deșeurilor. Conform regulilor de asociere la Fondului Parteneriatului Europei de Est pentru Eficiență Energetică și Mediu, țările ce vor să beneficieze de granturile acordate de E5P, trebuie să vină cu o contribuție proprie. Republica Moldova va contribui la fond cu 1 milion de euro, bani care vor fi eşalonaţi pe parcursul unei perioade de cinci ani. Fondului Parteneriatului Europei de Est pentru Eficiență Energetică și Mediu reprezintă un fond cu un capital de circa 93 milioane de euro, ce a fost inițiat în anul 2009 de către guvernul Suediei în colaborare cu instituțiile financiare internaționale şi are rolul de a acorda sprijin financiar în vederea creșterii eficienței energetice în țările Parteneriatului Estic al Uniunii Europene.
