Moldova, în top 10 după numărul femeilor de afaceri

Aproape o treime din toate întreprinderile din lume se află în proprietatea, sau sunt administrate de femei. Cel puțin asta arată un nou studiu realizat de Organizația Internațională a Muncii (OIM), transmite Agora cu referire la publicația The Washington Post. În lume există doar trei țări unde numărul femeilor care dețin, sau administrează o afacere depășește 50 la sută. Acestea sunt: Jamaica (59,3%), Columbia (53,1%), și Sfânta Lucia (52,3%). Potrivit studiului Republica Moldova ocupă locul 10 cu 44,1 la sută. La coada clasamentului se află Yemen, Pakistan și Algeria, cu 4,9 la sută, 3 la sută și respectiv 2,1 la sută. La nivel global, femeile reprezintă aproximativ un sfert din toți angajatorii, asta dacă luăm în considerație Orientul Mijlociu și Africa de Nord, unde ele reprezintă doar 6%. Numărul managerilor de sex feminin este în creștere. În circa 80 la sută din țări, rata femeilor în managementul afacerilor a crescut comparativ cu anul 2000, iar în 23 de țări creșterea a fost cu 7 la sută și mai mult.
