Собственное представительство ФАО появится в Молдове
«Конечная цель заключается в том, чтобы после достижения определенного уровня развития наша страна смогла содействовать обеспечению всего населения продовольствием, чтобы мы могли превратиться из получателя в страну, которая вносит собственный вклад», – заявил Василе Бумаков.В свою очередь Жозе Грациано да Силва отметил, что подписание этого соглашения позволит ФАО установить более тесное сотрудничество с молдавским правительством и запустить более обширные программы в различных областях сельского хозяйства.
«Постараемся сотрудничать в трех важных сферах: в контексте развития конкурентоспособного сельского хозяйства, охраны природных ресурсов и развития сельских районов», – сказал да Силва.Республика Молдова присоединилась к ФАО в 1995 году и с тех пор получила финансовую и техническую поддержку на миллионы евро. ФАО является специализированным органом ООН, основанным в 1945 году для борьбы с бедностью и голодом в мире путем содействия развитию сельского хозяйства за счет улучшения питания и обеспечения продовольственной безопасности.
