SUA anunţă câţi bani va oferi Moldovei în acest an

Aproximativ 31 milioane de dolari - aceasta este suma care este prevăzută în bugetul Statelor Unite ca asistenţă financiară pentru Republica Moldova în acest an. Într-un comunicat de presă al Casei Albe difuzat la 7 iunie se precizează că aceste fonduri sunt oferite pentru a susţine aspiraţiile de integrare europeană a ţării noastre, dar şi de a reduce vulnerabilitățile la presiunile externe.
Moldova a lucrat din greu pentru a construi instituții democratice și o economie prosperă, precum și pentru a asigura suveranitatea și securitatea ei. Statele Unite au oferit asistență pentru pentru a susţine aceste eforturi, dar şi în contextul în care Republica Moldova se pregătește să semneze Acordul de Asociere și Acordul de Liber Schimb cu Uniunea Europeană la 27 iunie 2014. Susţinerea Statelor Unite ale Americii vizează programe pentru a ajuta Moldova să avanseze pe calea sa europeană, se menţionează în comunicatul administraţiei de la Washington.
Pachetul de susţinere în valoare de 31 milioane de dolari se aduagă la cel 2,7 milioane dolari, care a fost anunţat pe 3 martie pentru a ajuta companiile din Moldova în vederea sporirii productivităţii și competitivităţii. Recent, în cadrul unei întrevederi al Kiev cu şeful statului, Nicolae Timofti, vice-președintele american, Joseph Biden, a anunţat că Statele Unite ale Americii vor oferi opt milioane de dolari pentru promovarea cauzei pro-europene a Republicii Moldova. Moldova va primi de la americani 8 mln de dolari pentru mediatizarea cauzei pro-europene Din 1992, Statele Unite au oferit aproximativ 1,2 miliarde dolari asistență pentru Republica Moldova, inclusiv 262 milioane dolari în cadrul Programului Millennium Challenge Corporation Compact, care a fost lansat în 2010. Asistenţa Statelor Unite vizează proiecte privind îmbunătăţirea guvernării, creșterii transparenței, consolidarea statului de drept, combaterea corupției, promovarea creșterii economice prin reducerea barierelor în calea comerțului, îmbunătățirea mediului de afaceri, precum și creșterea productivităţii și competitivităţii. De asemenea, Statele Unite sprijină Republica Moldova în cadrul proiectelor de eficienţă energetică, dar şi de reintegrare a ţării.
