Care sunt cerinţele de etichetare a produselor alimentare

Pentru a face alegeri optime în materie de produse alimentare este necesar să cunoaştem ce informaţii trebuie să apară pe etichetele produselor şi ce semnifică ele. Agenţia pentru Protecţia Consumatorilor explică, într-o notă, ce condiţii trebuie să respecte agenţii economici la completarea etichetei produselor. În primul rând, specialiştii de la autoritatea de protecţie a consumatorilor atenţionează că eticheta trebuie sa fie amplasată astfel încât să nu poată fi separată de recipient, iar informația de pe ea să nu poată fi ștearsă. Ea trebuie să ofere informații veritabile şi suficiente pentru a face posibilă compararea produselor, care să permită ulterior alegerea produsului corespunzător exigențelor și posibilităților. Toate informaţiile de pe etichete trebuie să fie redactate în limba română (fără a exclude redactarea acestora și în alte limbi) şi trebuie să cuprindă:
  • denumirea sub care este comercializat produsul alimentar;
  • lista ingredientelor;
  • cantitatea netă, volumul;
  • data fabricării și termenul de valabilitate;
  • condițiile de păstrare;
  • instrucțiunile de folosire;
  • denumirea și adresa producătorului și/sau a importatorului, distribuitorului;
  • date privind identificarea lotului;
  • denumirea țării de origine;
  • alte informații specifice.
De asemenea, pe etichetă trebuie să găsim informaţii despre condiţiile de păstrare, de fabricaţie şi de tratare chimică. Specialiştii subliniază că este esenţială citirea datei la care expiră produsele şi urmărirea condiţiilor în care acestea se păstrează. Refuzați să cumpărați produse care nu au înscris termenul de expirare şi pe cele depozitate în condiţii inadecvate, care grăbesc procesul de alterare, se menţionează în nota Agenţiei pentru Protecţia Consumatorilor.
