Pentru a evita pierderi financiare de milioane de lei, fondurile și activele Băncii de Economii ar trebui să treacă în gestiunea Trezoreriei de Stat. Propunerea aparține şefei Direcţiei finanţe a primăriei capitalei, Veronica Herţa, și a fost înaintată în cadrul ședinței operative de astăzi, notează Noi.md. Potrivit funcționarei, în urma creării unei bănci unice, care ar urma să se numească „banca statului”, vor fi păstrate locurile de muncă ale angajaților BEM, rețeaua de filiale, precum și sistemele informaționale. În cazul în care toate activele BEM vor fi transferate în subordinea Trezoreriei de Stat, ar fi soluționate mai multe probleme, inclusiv cea legată de păstrarea locurilor de muncă, întrucît cadrul legal prevede că în cazul disponibilizării personalului BEM, este nevoie de circa 32 de milioane de lei. Un alt avantaj ar fi păstrarea activelor BEM, cu sistemul informațional și inclusiv plățile, or, în prezent, Trezoreria de Stat închiriază în unele raioane spații pentru a-și desfășura activitatea. Am avea o claritate a gestionării banului public și a surselor care sînt la dispoziția bugetelor de toate nivelele. Comisioanele pe care le încasează băncile constituie pînă la 0,8%. În cazul în care în această bancă de stat – banca trezoreriei – vor fi trecute plățile făcute de celelalte întreprinderi de stat și municipale, putem vorbi de sume mult mai mari, a explicat Veronica Herța. Potrivit estimărilor șefei Direcției finanțe, punerea în practică a acestei propuneri va duce la economisirea a peste 100 de milioane de lei anual, iar circulația banului public va fi securizată. 86 de milioane de lei ar urma să fie economisiți din comisioanele pe care le încasează prestatorii de servicii, iar 32 de milioane – din salariile ce urmează a fi plătite în cazul disponibilizării personalului BEM. Propunerea urmează a fi discutată și cu reprezentanții Ministerului Finanțelor.
