Reuters: Banca Națională a Moldovei, printre 53 de bănci centrale care au recurs la relaxarea politicii monetare

Ratele dobânzilor în băncile centrale din diverse țări niciodată nu au fost atât de mici, iar politica monetară niciodată nu a fost mai relaxată decât acum. De la începutul anului 2015, în total 53 de bănci centrale din întreaga lume și-au relaxat politicile pentru a stimula creșterea, a evita deflația, sau ambele. Portalul de știri Reuters a întocmit o listă în care a inclus toate din cele 53 de bănci și măsurile care au fost luate de acestea. În ceea ce ține de Republica Moldova, Banca Națională din această țară a luat în total şase măsuri. Toate au revenit pe perioada februarie-septembrie 2016. Măsura la care a recurs BNM a fost cea de a micșora în continuu rata de bază după cum urmează:
  • 25 februarie - de la 19,5 la sută până la 19 la sută anual;
  • 31 martie - de la 19 la sută până la 17 la sută anual;
  • 28 aprilie - de la 17 la sută până la 15 la sută anual;
  • 26 mai - de la 15 la sută până la 13 la sută anual;
  • 4 iulie - de la 13 la sută până la 10 la sută anual;
  • 29 septembrie - de la 10 la sută până la 9,5 la sută anual.
Trebuie de menționat că luna mai 2016 a fost cea mai solicitată în acest sens. Anume în această lună băncile centrale din 17 țări au recurs la relaxarea politicilor monetare, printre care și Republica Moldova.
