Полный переход на код International Bank Account Number (IBAN) с 1 января 2016 года станет важным шагом для придания современных преимуществ национальной системе денежных переводов, считают экономические эксперты. Это уже второй этап процесса внедрения, первый касался трансграничных переводов. Подробнее о введении нового кода и смысле перехода на него корреспонденту sputnik.md на условиях анонимности рассказал сотрудник одного из молдавских банков. По сути, это номер счета клиента, в котором закодировано название банка и вся информация. Сейчас же, чтобы осуществить перевод, нужно знать название банка, код банка и номер счета. Для того, чтобы адаптироваться к новой практике, в банках введут переходный период до 1 января 2017 года, — рассказал собеседник. Использование IBAN для внутренних денежных переводов — это действительно своевременная мера, продолжает эксперт. Цель внедрения IBAN – это уменьшение ошибок во время обработки данных и сокращение расходов на переводы. Использование кода будет внедрено повсеместно. На данном этапе все клиенты банков получают свои номера IBAN, они могут его узнать в банке, или банки извещают клиентов письмом, либо клиенты могут зайти на корпоративные сайты банков и в специальном разделе самостоятельно сгенерировать свой IBAN, — объяснил эксперт. Введение IBAN облегчит работу не только банкам и другим финансовым учреждениям, но и простым гражданам, утверждает аналитик. Это всем принесет облегчение. Для примера – в Евросоюзе для того, чтобы осуществить перевод денег, например, из Румынии, клиенту, который находится в Англии, не нужно запоминать целый список кодов, свифтов и счетов. Достаточно знать только счет IBAN. Это очень все упрощает. Кому-то нужно получить деньги – он в смс написал свой IBAN, и все, этого достаточно, — разъяснил финансист. Напомним, что код IBAN для международных переводов был внедрен в Молдове в 2013 году.
