О прожиточном минимуме
В 2016 г. размер прожиточного минимума на одного человека составил 1799,2 лея, увеличившись на 3,8% по сравнению с 2015 г. Для жителей крупных городов (Кишинев, Бельцы) он составил 2013,5 лея, что на 14,1% больше, чем в малых городах (1764,8 лея) и на 16,8% больше, чем в селах (1723,4 лея).
Efectuarea încasărilor băneşti în numerar în lipsa MCC, în cazul în care actele normative în vigoare prevăd folosirea ei, se sancţionează cu o amendă în valoare de 7000 lei, potrivit art. 254 din Codul fiscal.

Există o serie de activităţi al căror specific permite efectuarea încasărilor băneşti în numerar fără aplicarea MCC. Acestea, conform Hotărârii Guvernului nr.474 din 28 aprilie 1998.

La 1 aprilie curent a intrat în vigoare Ordinul Serviciului Fiscal de Stat, Nr. 475 din 30 martie 2017 prin care a fost aprobat Ghidul practic pentru contribuabili privind utilizarea maşinilor de casă şi control cu memorie fiscală la efectuarea decontărilor în numerar.
