Первый вице-президент Национального банка Молдовы Владимир Мунтяну заявил в ходе участия в экономическом форуме «Молдова: тенденции в банковской сфере и экономические изменения», на котором он вел дискуссионную панель «Кредитование в национальной валюте: возможности в текущем макроэкономическом контексте», что банки Молдовы становятся более сильными и устойчивыми, рост кредитования, хотя и скромный, но постоянный. Очень важно продвигать кредитование в леях, отметил он, поскольку период низких процентных ставок и сильных национальных валют в странах с развивающейся экономикой остался в прошлом.
În luna octombrie 2018 indicele prețurilor de consum (IPC) față de septembrie 2018 a constituit 100,4%. În Monitorul Oficial din 16 octombrie curent Biroul Național de Statistică a publicat IPC pentru luna precedentă. Creşterea preţurilor medii de consum cu 0,4% a fost determinată de majorarea preţurilor la produsele alimentare cu 0,6%, la mărfurile nealimentare – cu 0,3 % şi a tarifelor pentru prestarea serviciilor populaţiei – cu 0,2 %. Astfel, în luna octombrie 2018 faţă de luna septembrie au fost înregistrate creşteri de preţuri la fructe de livadă sâmburoase (cu 25,6%), legume proaspete (cu 11,1%) ouă de găină (cu 4,5%), slănină neprelucrată (cu 3,1%), lapte şi produse lactate (cu 0,9%), carne, preparate şi conserve din carne (cu 0,4%), miere de albine, ciocolată şi bomboane din ciocolată (cu câte 0,4%).
