Serviciul Fiscal de Stat, călăuzându-se de sloganul „Funcționarul fiscal – în serviciul contribuabilului”, în activitatea sa de administrare fiscală pune accentul pe conformarea fiscală voluntară a contribuabililor. Promovarea spiritului de conformare voluntară conduce la îmbunătățirea civismului fiscal prin instituirea unui cadru unitar al relaţiilor de parteneriat cu mediul de afaceri şi cetăţeni, bazat pe încrederea şi susţinerea reciprocă, concomitent cu armonizarea legislaţiei fiscale a Republicii Moldova la standardele international din domeniu.
