Conform art. 901 alin.(35) din Codul fiscal
Cotele taxei pentru apă sunt stabilite în anexa nr. 1 la titlul VIII din Codul fiscal şi constituie:
Taxa pentru apă se calculează de către persoanele fizice care desfășoară activitate de întreprinzător și persoanele juridice, care extrag apă din fondul apelor și cele care utilizează apa la hidrocentrale (art. 302 din Codul fiscal).

Minerale utile este zăcămintele minepale naturale care se conţin în subsol, precum şi cele sedimentate pe terenurile obiectivelor acvatice. (art.299 pct.2) al Codului fiscal)
Darea de seamă fiscală la taxa pentru efectuarea prospecțiunilor geologice se prezintă trimestrial, pînă la data de 25 a lunii imediat următoare trimestrului de gestiune (art. 301 alin. (1) din Codul fiscal).
