Activitatea contribuabilului va fi supusă controlului din partea Serviciului Fiscal de Stat sau alte organe cu atribuții de administrare fiscală, la determinarea obligațiilor fiscale se vor solicita documentele contabile a căror termene de prescripție se determina în cel mult 4 ani, conform prevederilor art. 264 alin. (1) din Codul fiscal.
În conformitate cu prevederile art.119 pct.2) din Codul fiscal, certificat de acciză reprezintă document eliberat de Serviciul Fiscal de Stat antrepozitarului autorizat, care atestă înregistrarea acestuia şi îi atribuie dreptul de a efectua tranzacţii cu mărfurile supuse accizelor.
Potrivit art.119 pct.3) din Codul fiscal, antrepozit fiscal reprezintă totalitatea locurilor, determinate în certificatul de acciză, în care mărfurile supuse accizelor sînt produse, transformate, deţinute sau expediate (transportate) de către antrepozitarul autorizat în activitatea sa, în cadrul cărora nu se calculează şi nu se achită accizele.
