Aplicarea IFRS de către entitățile de interes public definite conform Legii nr.287/2017
Potrivit art.3 al Legii contabilității și raportării financiare nr.287/2017 (Legea nr.287/2017), entitatea de interes public reprezintă entitatea ale cărei valori mobiliare sunt admise la tranzacționare pe o piață reglementată; bancă; asigurător (reasigurator)/societate de asigurări; organism de plasament colectiv în valori mobiliare cu personalitate juridică; entitate mare care este întreprindere de stat sau este societate pe acțiuni în care cota statului depășește 50% din capitalul social. Clasificarea entităților este descrisă în art.4 al Legii nr.287/2017, respectiv entitatea mare este entitatea care, la data raportării, depăşeşte limitele a două dintre următoarele criterii:
