Pe parcursul primului trimestru al acestui an datoria externă totală a Republicii Moldova a ajuns la 6,34 miliarde dolari, în scădere cu 153 de milioane dolari. Totuși a continuat să crească datoria pentru resursele energetice, tendință care se păstrează pe parcursul ultimelor 11 ani.
Объем денежных переводов в Молдову из-за рубежа через банки в пользу физлиц в январе-мае 2015 г. сократился на 28,6%, составив $437,82 млн. В мае этого года объем переводов составил $99,03 млн, что на 33,4% меньше показателя за май 2014 года. В структуре валютных переводов доминирует евро, с долей в 42,2%. Доля доллара составила 27%, российского рубля – 23,8%.
